Piperita Oil, commonly known as Mentha piperita oil or Peppermint Oil, is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh or partly dried leaves of Mentha piperita, a hybrid between Mentha spicata and Mentha aquatica. It has a strong, sharp, and cooling aroma with sweet minty undertones, rich in menthol and menthone.
