Description
Piperitone is a naturally occurring monoterpene ketone found in Mentha longifolia, Mentha arvensis, and certain eucalyptus species. With a warm, minty-herbaceous character and a slightly camphoraceous edge, piperitone serves as an important intermediate in the production of carvone and other mint derivatives.
